The top 3 ways to Store Your Items in an RV

For all of the RV lovers out there we have an article that is perfect for you! RV’s can be really restrictive for storage space, but not if you follow our storage advice. Today we will be discussing the top three storage methods for any RV. Enjoy!

Pulling a Trailer

One of the easiest ways to immediately increase the storage on your RV would be to purchase a trailer. Now this may not be the easiest on your wallet, but it will immediately increase your storage drastically. So if you need lots of extra room and have some extra money to spend, then this is the option for you. It is very handy to have what you need when you need it. If you’re not already pulling something, this is the way to go. However if you are only looking for a little extra storage and are on a budget, continue onto our other options.

Using a Rack System

Another option which is more conservative would be installing racks on top of your RV, similar to some that come on cars. The only con here is ensuring that you will still fit under all bridges and other height requirements without scraping off that extra storage. Besides that, this is the perfect blend of adding a little more storage without going absolutely overboard. It also tends to be the best new option on a budget and is not overkill. If you can easily access this area of your RV, this may be the best option.

Optimizing Storage Compartments

Last but not least we have the simplest version which is to simply go through and organize your already existing storage compartments. If you go through and organize them all well, you may realize that you have more room than you originally thought. Then you won’t need new storage compartments at all! Time to downsize that RV and go minimalist. So if you don’t want to spend any money and want to take the least amount of time, then this is the option for you.
