Problem Solved

Having read the reviews for the 50 mag case, I found a solution to “not deep enough for extended mags” problem. The dimensions for the #801 & #997 cases are good enough for government work. Because the walls of the #997 taper slightly it will keep the foam from touching the bottom of the case. With the foam 50% full of mags the case may settle 2-4 inches down from the top rim (depending on weight. For some this is irrelevant. I’m using this case for my P320’s of which I have several, from subcompact to full size (mags range from 12 -30 rounds). I need the foam to sit flush to the rim to keep smaller mags in place in the event of a roll over. I simply filled the bottom with foam (that I trimmed to meet my needs) from an unused rifle box. Could not add any pics to show everything. Customer service will assist if you have questions.
