45" AR10 Case #1229

I purchased 2 cases after a little research and based on the descriptions. I spent 25 years in Special Forces, and toted many such cases made several other companies and I must say, these folks will get my business from now on.

I ordered the case with the pre-cut foam for an AR-10 platform, pistols, mag holders, scope area etc. You pull the foam out according to what you want to put in.

When I received the cases, I was impressed, but apprehensive. The case I purchased that held 5 handguns, seemed like it would be small and felt a bit light. But my attention went to my primary purchase, the 45" precut weapons case with the wheels.

I opened it and immediately noticed how impressive the latches on the case were. I literally just stopped and played with the first one for minute, fascinated with is fit and function. Gone are the days of damn near taking a finger off opening some other brands, but also is the hammering the things down to close them. Very impressive! The case construction appears far superior to other brands. Hence the weight of the case. Believe, these cases are very well built and far exceed, structurally, what you think that amount material would sustain. Bomb proof (well I don't mean drag them through a minefield) but pound for pound, these things are sweet.

So I went to put my new baby in 'er fir a test drive and low and behold, it did not fit.. In there add they said it would fit any AR-10 under so many inches. I measured mine before I ordered and it met specs so I pulled the trigger on the purchase (pun intended). What I neglected to ask the company is if they would accommodate a 20" barrel since they are available from 16" to 24" barrel lengths (of course the 24" would not fit in the case at all). Anyway, it was cut for a 18" to 16" barrel configuration. There was enough space and foam available to cut it that way, but the current configuration allows more space (foam) at the butstock end of the case, about 3" and the remaining space on the barrel end of the cutout was about 2" because it has to allow for the wheel wells. If the pattern was cut another 2" the otherwise, it would fit the 20" barrel models just fine.

I emailed the company and they immediately said they would refund my entire cost of the case, since that is not annotated in the add. I was shocked, I didn't expect that. I was half liable for not calling or email to be sure. I had seen so many 20" configurations that assumed my gun would fit. Not only did they refund the they let me keep the case..

Fantastic customer service. After checking out the other case, I was shocked. Not only was the thing not too small to 5 guns, it does so better than I would have imagined. Although you see the pictures on their sight, I just didn't think if would eat all my rigs, all full-sized and fitted with lights, sights, etc. And room for numerous mags and a few tools/cleaning supplies, etc. All in a compact, durable, secure, element proof, sexy little box.

With just a little careful cutting, I was able to remove a little more foam get my PSA AR-10, 20" stainless barrel, baby, snug as a bug. Initially I was concerned with the limited clearance remaining between the end of the barrel and the end of the case, should it ever sustain a hard blow on the end. But once I got it in and saw how securely it held the entire weapon, there is no way the thing could move that way if dropped and even a direct strike to that end by something else, it would take so much force to damage the barrel the whole case would break (which I doubt is possible) or it fly about 40 feet or more.. In other words, I feel very comfortable with the Case. Any impact that damage that end would be more than I would be willing to use anything that was in the because it would take take or fall from from a great hight or being run over by a tracked vehicle, to damage one of these.

I am very pleased with product and the people. They will be getting more of my business in the not-to-distant future and for all my foreseeable, related needs in the future.
